I continue to enjoy decorative art, especially painting on items that can be recycled; slate shingles, old
furniture, jars, coffee cans, shot gun
shells painted into Santa Christmas ornaments, lapel
pins made from skeleton keys and wooden bowls.
I studied
extensively with nationally known
decorative art teachers
Jane Mayberry, Tina Norris, and Cheri Rol, to name a few. I also
traveled to numerous annual conventions for the National Society of
Decorative Painters and for over 10 years attended the Heart of Ohio
Tole conventions held in Columbus, Ohio.
Pictured below are some samples of my decorative art; many of the items
shown have been sold, however I do accept orders for custom work.
